Teresa Garland Warner
Teresa Garland Warner has lived and worked in Missoula, MT, since 1991 with her husband and two daughters. As a Texas native, she showed great promise as a young artist, receiving many awards. A busy 30-year career in medicine followed, although Teresa has always maintained her work in art. She retired from the medical field in 2009 to pursue her passion for painting full-time.
Teresa is inspired by the western landscape and enjoys working en plein air. She loves the sense of light, especially at dawn and dusk, the resulting colors, and aerial perspective.
Teresa has juried into many international exhibitions, has paintings in private collections all over the country, and is represented by Cassens Fine Art Gallery in Hamilton, MT.
Recognized as a finalist in the prestigious 18th International Salon hosted by the Art Renewal Center, an international competition celebrating realist art.
