Membership QuestionsWhich membership tier is right for me?
Foundation ($6,000/year) is ideal if you want 24/7 physician access and a personal medical relationship without diagnostic testing. Insight ($9,000/year) adds baseline diagnostics, continuous glucose monitoring, and a proactive prevention plan. Pinnacle ($15,000/year) includes the full stack — advanced genetics, AI analysis, wearable integration, and nutrition optimization. Dr. Petersen will help you choose during your consultation.
Can I upgrade my membership tier?
Yes. You can upgrade your membership tier at any time. The prorated difference will be applied to your current billing cycle. Many members start with Foundation and upgrade to Insight or Pinnacle after experiencing the value of the physician relationship and wanting deeper diagnostic insight.
Is there a long-term contract?
VALIA memberships are annual commitments renewed on a yearly basis. There are no multi-year contracts. We believe the quality of the relationship and the clinical results should earn your renewal each year — not a binding agreement.
Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for membership?
Generally, yes. VALIA's membership fees may qualify as eligible medical expenses under IRS guidelines. Direct primary care arrangements are increasingly eligible under current regulations. We recommend consulting your tax advisor to confirm eligibility for your specific plan.
